Beta terms

Beta Terms of Use

Effective 6 August 2026

Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for how you use the beta software and website.

Your authority to use trace data

You may process only data you own or are authorized to use. Do not include illegal, infringing, credential-bearing, confidential, or personal data that you lack permission to process.

Local operation and model providers

Triana Preview runs locally. If you explicitly authorize semantic analysis, redacted excerpts may be sent directly from your machine to the model endpoint you select under your credentials. Your agreement with that provider applies to its service.

Beta availability

The software and related services are beta releases. Features may change, pause, or stop. Outputs may be incomplete or unavailable. Keep your own source copies and local artifacts.

Evidence and release decisions

Triana does not guarantee that proposed observations or supporting evidence are complete or correct. Missing evidence is not a pass. Triana does not make an automated release decision and does not provide professional, legal, compliance, or security advice.

Licenses and ownership

Triana Preview is source-available under the license published in the Triana Preview repository. Triana Skills is available under Apache-2.0 in the Triana Skills repository. The applicable repository license controls use of each release. These terms do not transfer ownership of your trace data.

Abuse

Do not use the website, beta software, or access process to cause harm, violate law, compromise security, interfere with service operation, or infringe the rights of others.

Feedback

If you provide product feedback, you permit Triana to use it to improve the product without an obligation to pay you.

Warranty disclaimer

The beta is provided as available and without warranties to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing the evidence and making your own deployment decisions.

Changes and contact

We may update these beta terms as the product changes. Questions: akarshgajbhiye@gmail.com.
